Episode 9 will be the third and final installment of Disney's sequel trilogy starring Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac, with director J.J. Abrams returning from 2015's The Force Awakens. Promising to bring the Skywalker saga to a definitive end, Rise begins a year after The Last Jedi. The Resistance faces the First Order once again, this time though as the ancient conflict between the Jedi and the Sith nears its climax.
